Handcrafted using a braided cord made of fibers from recycled PET-bottles mixed with cotton, the rectangular Washing machine basket is made carefully by our skilled artisans to make it a favorite playtime accessory.Comes with a mini-rug of Lorena Canals’ RugCycled collection, and a mini-cushion shaped as a bottle of detergent. The front panel has a small a pocket and a turning switch in canvas as well as a round-shaped door. The basket comes in Pearl grey color with details in natural and light blue. Packed individually in a carton box.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family’s economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
